UK/Poland season 2025
Four was commissioned to deliver a partnerships and audience development project for the 2025 UK/Poland Season, delivered by the British Council in collaboration with the Adam Mickiewicz Institute and the Polish Cultural Institute.
Our research provided a strategic overview of the UK cultural landscape, identifying potential partners across film, music, visual art, literature and performance. This involved analysing organisational and programming priorities, commissioning timelines and audience opportunities, and brokering new relationships between UK and Polish cultural institutions.
We then worked to support key moments within the Season, helping to showcase the vibrancy and contemporary relevance of Polish culture in the UK.
Our work spanned the Season launch in March, a visual arts press trip to Warsaw in February, and a theatre-focused press trip to the Malta Festival in Poznań with critics from The Guardian, Daily Telegraph and Time Out. We also provided strategic communications support for major performance events at the Barbican, Southbank Centre and the Theatre is Freedom Festival, reinforcing the Season’s presence with audiences across the UK’s leading cultural platforms.
